Sustainable Processes

Our industry is under pressure to minimise the environmental impact of distillery processes. Process modifications are required to achieve sustainability targets, including reducing energy use and associated greenhouse gas emissions, and the responsible use of water, while maintenance of spirit quality and process efficiency is critical. We support this by evaluating process modifications, providing knowledge on the potential impact on flavour and composition as well as environmental benefits.
